Dreams Come True Events is an entertainment company that specializes in creating magical moments for children's birthday parties and community events. I believe in bringing joy and happiness to every event I attend. 

Rachael Swinson

CEO & Performer

Rachael is the proud CEO of Dreams Come True Events LLC. She has years of experience working with children from working at her local dance studio and for Williams Group Photography. She has over ten years of experience in the performing arts and have played various roles including Elsa, Elle Woods, Rusty, Janis, and Mabel and has worked and trained with professional actors such as Jim Corti, Emily Kristen Morris, and Emily Fink. She has also worked with the Paramount Theatre.

 

She grew up going to a certain theme park resort many times, and have always dreamed of bringing that same magic to her community!

 

She is currently attending NIU and majoring in English while chasing her dream of becoming a professional actress!

Hannah Freise

Assistant

Hannah is currently a Senior in high school from Byron, IL., and will be pursuing a degree in Nursing. She has over four years of experience in working with children. Outside of school and work, she enjoys films, soccer, and being outside.

FAQ

How do I book an event?

Click the "Services" tap in the menu! From there you will see all of my offerings. From there, there will be a button to book a package under each service that will lead you to the request form for that said service. Once I receive your request, I will let you know if that date is available or not.

 

*Please allow 24-48 hours for a response. On the weekends, please allow the week to arrive for a response. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

All deposits for party and event packages along with payments for virtual offerings are paid for through an invoice. I ask that balances are paid via cash or check. If another invoice is needed, I ask that you let me know prior to the day of your event. 

Is tipping required?

Tipping is not required but greatly appreciated!

Do you service select venues?

How far in advance should I book?

Bookings must be completed at least a month before (Ex: If you would like to book for February, you must book by the end of January). You may still submit a booking request after the cut off, but there is no guarantee that your requested date will be available.

Is payment due upon booking?

For parties and events I require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance will be due at the end of your party or event. If the balance is not paid at the end, a $5.00 late fee will accrue each week until payment is received. For my virtual offerings, full payment is due at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?
 

Nope! I are open to any venue as long as it is safe for me. Outdoor parties are allowed, but as long as conditions are safe for myself and the costume. Events will not take place outside if it is raining, snowing, or any other inclement weather. I also require for it to be at least 55 degrees but no warmer than 90.

Can I share photos of my event?

Of course! Feel free to share them with family, friends, and on social media. Also feel free to tag the company on Facebook!

Are you affiliated with any major company?

No. Dreams Come True Events LLC is an independent entity and is not associated with, or licensed by, any major company

In the event of a cancellation, you have the option to reschedule in which your non-refundable deposit will be transferred to that day. I ask that you make me aware of a cancellation 48 hours prior to your event. I understand that emergencies may come up on the day of the event and respect last minute cancellations when it comes to them. In the event that I have to cancel, you will be notified as soon as possible and your deposit will be transferred to another day. If another day does not work for you, your deposit will be refunded.

Am I able to book more than one character?

At this time, no. Dreams Come True Events LLC is a one-woman company.

What if I want to change my package?
 

Changes are fine, but are subject to availability. I ask that you request these changes 1 week prior to your event. Ultimately, changes are up to my discretion.

Are there travel fees?
 

Mileage fees may apply to events that are more than 40 miles roundtrip from Rochelle, IL. If tolls are needed for travel, toll fees will apply.
